EASA Air Operations Management Team Workshop - Nominated Person Flight Operations & Crew

Introduction

This industry-specific 3-day program was designed for Air Operations Management Team personnel and specifically tailored for the Nominated Person Flight Operations and the Nominated Person Crew Training. The workshop will provide training in Management approaches and techniques in order to achieve safe and effecient flight operations and crew training.

An industry-specific 3-day program designed for Air Operations Management Team personnel and specifically tailored for the Nominated Persons for Flight Operations and Crew Training.

The course is combined because of the close cooperation required of these two Persons, and because they are very often deputies for each other.

The Management System for an AOC holder’s Flight Operation requires fully effective processes. The Nominated Person for Flight Operations and the Nominated Person Crew Training is responsible for a wide range of safety-critical processes.

The workshop will provide training in management approaches and techniques in order to achieve effective and safe Flight Operations and crew training

 

The workshop is highly interactive and promotes practices that have become benchmarks in the industry. It serves as preparation for authority interviews and is also a platform for exchanging experiences with peers in a confidential environment.

The following subjects will be addressed:

 

  • Brief regulatory historic review
  • Introduction to the Air Operations Regulation EU 965/12 and associated requirements (The Basic Regulation, Air Crew and Part M/145)
  • A focus on Management System requirements with Safety & Compliance Management techniques required in ORO and ORA.GEN.200
  • Practical exercises related to the working environment

Course Content

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

 

  • Understanding the regulatory responsibilities and management system requirements for Nominated Persons in Flight Operations and Crew Training.
  • Gaining practical knowledge of safety and compliance management techniques as per EASA regulations (EU 965/12).
  • Applying these principles through practical exercises in a real-world aviation management environment.

Pre-requisites

Essential:

A desire to learn about the responsibilities of being the Nominated Person for Flight Operations and Crew Training.
