This course is delivered in cooperation with Search and Rescue International Ltd.
A 3-day workshop offering State SAR authorities wishing to initiate, develop or review their national SAR plan the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in assessing their SAR environment and to construct and publish robust requirements for their SAR stakeholders in the maritime and aeronautical areas of their national SAR system.
The course is a combination of instruction and facilitation.
The modules will have references to documents to review, interpret and then apply to case studies to build a bespoke framework to take away and further develop on site.
The course will consist of a series of lectures/modules reviewing publications and case studies to construct an outline framework for a national SAR plan lectures that will cover the following topics over three days
