This course is delivered in cooperation with Search and Rescue International (Ltd).

A 3-day workshop designed to give the student an understanding of the operator's management system specific to the Helicopter SAR environment. The course is presented by instructors with first-hand experience in SAR AOC Management, SAR Operations, Aviation Regulations and IAMSAR requirements.

Pre-requisites

Essential:

Desirable prerequisites:

• Personnel currently part of an AOC management team responsible for SAR activities
• Personnel with a desire to become involved in Helicopter AOC management
