ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS - Post-Training Evaluation (PTE)

Introduction

This course will provide CATC personnel with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to implement the TRAINAIR PLUS Level 3 Post-Training Evaluation (L3 PTE) processes, measure the impact of delivered training on work performance, and enhance the quality of developed courses and implemented training processes.

The training package includes also 5 days of remote technical assistance.

Course Content

After successfully completing the Course, the trainees will be able to:

  • Explain the theoretical framework that supports the TRAINAIR PLUS L3 PTE methodology.
  • Apply the L3 PTE standard procedures.
  • Design the L3 PTE scale to a course’s specific requirements.

  • Training managers, supervisors and professionals who are in charge in operations of training centres.

Pre-requisites

Essential:

  • A working knowledge of Excel software in order to generate graphs and charts. This is required for the exercises and assessments. The instructors will not teach Excel during the course.
  • PowerPoint will also be used. Basic knowledge of PowerPoint is required.

 

Required preparation:

  • Trainees must bring a laptop to the course that allow USB plug ins. Trainees will be provided most course material on USB drives in an effort to remain paperless as much as possible.
  • Trainees must have Microsoft Office on their computers including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
