CRM Instructor (Ground) and CRM Instructor (Line/Sim) Training Course

Introduction

This CRMI Course complies with JAR/EU-OPS CRM Instructor requirements.

The course covers skills requirements for either classroom CRM Instructors or Line/Sim CRM Instructors and includes EU-OPS requirements for Assessment of CRM skills using Behaviour Markers. It is sometimes called a CRMI CORE Course.   The CRMI course is run by fully Accredited Instructor/Examiners who have long experience of training CRM Instructors and other training personnel at all levels in many airlines.   There are two separate courses available: 1)     CRMI(Ground) which is for classroom CRM instructors/trainers (pilots, cabin crew, and other training personnel). 2)     CRMI(Line/Sim) which is for line trainers and simulator trainers who are required to comply with Assessment of CRM skills under JAR/EU-OPS.   Upon registration you must clearly identify which course you register for as numbers are limited for each of CRMI(Ground) and CRMI( Line/Sim).   Each CRMI Course, is in two sections lasting 5 days in total.   The first section is generic and designed to give theory and practice instructional skills for both CRMI(Ground) and CRMI (Line/Sim).   The second section is a separate specialised syllabus depending if qualification required is for CRMI (Ground) or CRMI(Line/Sim).   This course is an approved course compliant with CRM Instructor requirements of JAR-OPS/EU-OPS. It generally follows theory and practice described in publication CAP 737 issued by the UK CAA as member of the JAA/EASA.   NOTECHS is the Behaviour Marker system used in the course for CRM Assessment, as recommended by EU-OPS for CRMI(Line/Sim) delegates. Attendees can adapt this system upon completion to other relevant NAA approved or validated Behaviour Marker systems within their own airlines or company.   Upon successful completion of the course:   CRMI(Ground) delegates will be able to commence gaining experience as CRM classroom instructors in their airline, in accordance with JAR/EU-OPS and their relevant NAA requirements. CRMI(Line) delegates will be able to apply through their airline, to their relevant NAA, for authority to conduct Line Training and Checking and use Assessment of CRM/Non Technical Skills as required under JAR/EU-Ops. CRMI(Sim) delegates will be ready to satisfy requirements for their NAA authorisation, in accordance with their relevant NAA requirements, and be able to use Assessment of CRM/Non Technical Skills as required under JAR/EU-Ops.

Please Note: This CRMI course requires attendees to do some pre-course reading and to prepare coursework each evening for the next day. The course is conducted in English.
