TRAINING COURSE

National Civil Aviation Security Programme Workshop (NCASP)

Introduction

This five-day interactive workshop is designed to familiarize participants with the requirements of a National Civil Aviation Security Programme (NCASP) and enable them to draft and review such a programme.

Annex 17 standards are just a few of the requirements set forth by ICAO which provides each State with the legal basis for civil aviation security programmes. Each state must then, in turn, establish Acts, Legislation, Regulations, or other legal instruments within their State that allows the appropriate authority the power to implement security requirements over aviation security stakeholders (airport, law enforcement, airlines, cargo agents and others).

Objectives: Through interactive group sessions and the sharing of ideas, the participants will be expected to draft certain portions of a “sample” NCASP as part of the workshop and will then be able to take what they have learned and apply this knowledge within their own state/airport.

Note: This training course will be delivered on customer request. Please contact our Training Department for the possibilities to train your staff. Will be delivered in cooperation with ICAO Aviation Security Training Centers.

Who should take this course

It is recommended that nominees be at the senior or middle management level within the State’s appropriate authority who are responsible for the control, drafting, review, updating and/or implementation of NCASP.
