This course addresses the way the system of European civil aviation works: how/through which regulations, policies and practices, such European organizations and institutions as European Commission and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), regulate and otherwise influence the national governments international air transport industry.
After completion of the course participants should have a clear understanding of the way the system of European civil aviation works: in other words, how/through which regulations, policies and practices, such European organizations and institutions as European Commission and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), regulate and otherwise influence the national governments international air transport industry.

Managers of Operators, Maintenance Organisations, Training Organisations (Pilot, Maintenance Staff, etc), Civil servants and managers of civil aviation administrations and airlines with (future) responsibilities for – or interest in - regulatory or government & industry affairs, bilateral negotiations and/or multilateral relations (incl. EU).
Some prior knowledge of international/European law/international relations and/or some experience in the field of aviation is desirable but not essential.
