Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Evaluation of Aircraft Structure
Introduction
Design Organisations need to be able to handle structural changes in aircraft. This applies to any installation whether it is an electrical change, avionics, cabin safety or structural changes to aircraft.
This training is designed to provide the persons attending the necessary tools and requirements to identify the need and the way how to justify such changes.

- To become aware of regulatory requirements for fatigue and damage tolerant design applied on aircraft.
- To have a good understanding of design criteria on the structural changes or repairs as well as their limitations.

Pre-requisites
Essential:
- Students or graduate of mechanical (or similar field) engineering;
- persons experienced in aircraft certification;
- members of a design approval holder;
- airline structural engineers;
- members of a type certificate/STC holder
