EASA’s Proposed Regulatory Framework for Pilot Licensing

Introduction

This training course addresses the EASA’s proposed regulations on pilot licensing, which will replace  JAR-FCL 1, JAR-FCL 2 and the current national requirements for flight crew licensing.

The course is based on a series of NPAs published by EASA, covering the following subjects:

Regulation on Licensing:

  • Annex I    - Part-FCL
  • Annex III - Acceptance of licences issued by or on behalf of third countries
  • Annex IV - Conversion of national licences and ratings for aeroplanes and helicopters
  • AMC/GM to Part-FCL

Regulation on Authority Requirements:

  •  Annex I    - Part Authority Requirements
  •  Subpart GEN – General Requirements
  •  Subpart ATO – Training Organisations
  •  Subpart FCL  - Licensing

Course Content

To provide a good working knowledge of the EASA’s regulatory framework on flight crew licensing, including the proposed Implementing Rules and associated AMC/GM material.

Representatives from both Industry and Authority involved in the areas of flight crew licensing and flight and theoretical knowledge training.

Pre-requisites

Essential:

A previous knowledge of JAR-FCL is desirable.
