Soft Skills Training Programme

Introduction

New business models continuously arise within the aviation industry. For example, the “Performance-Based Oversight”, in combination with abilities as “Soft Skills”, has been attending the requirements of the new “EASA Management System Assessment Tool”. In fact, “Soft Skills” has been regarded as an important approach to it. Traditional ways of overseeing may no longer be enough, therefore, regulators have found themselves in the need to find new ways of keeping oversight - “Soft Skills” has significantly helped them with it. Possessing soft skills is one of the ways forward according to the “Proposal for a Competency Framework for the Competent Authorities’ Inspectors”. But what are those so-called “Soft Skills” and why do they matter so much in Aviation?

Observing the market demand on learning about “Soft Skills”, JAA TO has developed this training course, which discusses this intelligent approach to challenging evolutions of the Industry, as the new “EASA Management System Assessment Tool” and more. The Soft Skills Training Programme will focus on attitudes and behavior an Inspector, auditor, leader or manager should have whilst carrying out their daily tasks. The programme will focus on understanding the role of this leader and the development of skills in order to achieve good attitudes, behaviors, and engagement, in a life-long learning process. The course will teach tools for an effective and flexible adaptation within a changing environment, as it is in Aviation.
