In accordance with JAA Administrative & Guidance Material Section 5/part 2 paragraph 9.4 All NAA FCL inspectors must be suitably trained, qualified and experienced for their role, before conducting inspections/audits in regard to FTOs & TRTOs, Operators and Manufacturers training facilities.
Some NAA inspectors may also become members of a JAA Licensing Standardisation Team (LIST) who are required to conduct audits on other JAA Member States.
To assist NAAs, the JAA-TO provide an FCL inspector training course. Before attending this course the inspector should have attended the JAR-FCL training course.
