Nominated Postholder Flight and Ground Operations (CAR OPS) Training Course

Introduction

An industry specific two-day programme specifically designed for nominated or designated post holder Flight Operations and Ground Operations of an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) holder under CAR OPS 1. 

Safety and quality delivery in an AOC holder's ground and flight operations requires fully effective processes. The Post holder Ground Operations and Flight Operations are responsible for a wide range of safety critical processes. 

This course aims to provide training in management approaches and in the regulatory framework to facilitate a fully effective operations and supporting the achievement of operational and business objectives. 

The course is highly participative, and promotes practices that have become the benchmark in the industry. 

Aviation Authorities have started interviewing Form 4 candidates. This course serves as preparation for the authority interview. 

Post holder Ground Operations and Flight Operations will be provided with a first-hand update of regulatory and industry development. Post holders are invited to exchange experiences among peers in a confidential environment.

Pre-requisites

Essential:

Previous experience in the function of Post holder Ground Operations or Flight Operations is not required, but an added value. However, knowledge of CAR OPS and other applicable regulations is required. 

This highly interactive course requires participants motivated to prepare for the task of Post holder Ground Operations or Flight Operations or motivated to deepen one's understanding of the task.
