Flight Dispatch Recurrent Training

Introduction

The JAA TO Flight Dispatch Recurrent training establishes a high level of safety and proficiency, by adequate recurrent training to the daily demand’s tasks for flight dispatch personnel.

This category of training is for personnel who have been trained and qualified in an Initial Flight Dispatch training and will continue to serve in the same duty position.

The Recurrent and Initial training is gradually introducing competency-based methods according to the new ICAO Manual 10106.

Course Content

Training based on the following reference material:

  • ICAO Manual 10106 (competency-based training), ICAO Doc. 7192‐Part D‐3
  • ICAO Annex 1 ‐   Personnel Licensing
  • ICAO Annex 6 ‐ Operations of Aircraft
  • EASA Air Ops
  • IOSA Standards Manual requirements.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, you should have:

  • Training based on the following reference material:

    • ICAO Annex 1 ‐   Personnel Licensing
    • ICAO Annex 6 ‐ Operations of Aircraft

Who should take this course

Flight Operational Officer/Flight Dispatch, Flight Operations Assistants, Flight Operations Managers, Operational Central Control (OCC) and CAAs that need these qualifications.

Pre-requisites

Essential:

Participants are kindly requested to bring a laptop to the course to access course material which will only be provided in electronic format.

According to ICAO Doc 7192 D-3:

  • Previous Flight Dispatch Initial training or proved 2-3 years of experience;
  • functional knowledge of the English language;
  • the minimum educational level of successful completion of high school (10 years of schooling or more).
