Many organisations in the aviation sector require comprehensive and in-depth audits to be undertaken throughout all areas of their operations, including suppliers and contractors. These audits often require the auditors to interface directly with senior management, to lead teams of auditors and to manage the complex relationship that exists between the quality function and diverse operational activities. Additionally management have often embraced the need to implement effective process management techniques in pursuit of organisational excellence additional to regulatory compliance.
This course is designed to meet this demanding auditing need by providing comprehensive training in audit management and auditing techniques to enable auditors to lead audit teams, to interface with senior management and to verify the adoption of effective process management and improvement techniques based on ISO 9001 (fast becoming the accepted minimum base line quality system throughout the aviation industry).
The course is both practical and highly participative and promotes auditing practices that have become the benchmark in the industry. Attendees who sit and pass the formal examination will be issued with a certificate that may be used in support of an application to become an internationally recognised IRCA certificated Auditor.
Please note however that attendance to the course alone does not qualify a delegate as an Auditor.
After attending this course participants should have the knowledge and skills to be able to plan, conduct and report an audit of an organisation against a set of management system requirements, including ISO 9001 and relevant regulations, working alone or leading an audit team.
