Flight Dispatcher Introduction Course

Introduction

The JAA TO Flight Dispatch Initial training establishes a high level of safety and proficiency, by adequate training for the daily demand tasks for flight dispatch personnel.

The topics of the training for airlines are based on the relevant parts of ICAO Annex 1, Annex 6 and ICAO Documents 10106, 9868, 9683 and Part D-3 of document 7192. This training also complies with the requirements of EASA GM1 ORO.GEN.110 (and related AMC and GM), IOSA ISM DSP 2.1 and DSP table 3.6.

The Initial and Recurrent training is gradually introducing competency-based methods according to the new ICAO Manual 10106.

Who should take this course

Flight Operational Officer/Flight Dispatch, Flight Operations Assistants, Flight Operations Managers, Operational Central Control (OCC), Flight Control, Operations Engineering and CAA/NAA need these qualifications.

Pre-requisites

Essential:

Participants are kindly requested to bring a laptop to the course to access course material which will only be provided in electronic format.

According to ICAO Doc 7192 Part D-3:

  • functional knowledge of the English language
  • the minimum educational level of successful completion of high school
