IATA 7.3 - Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) for Processing DG Consignments – Recurrent
Introduction
This Training course is for personnel responsible for processing dangerous goods consignments as per IATA DGR section 1.5 and in accordance with CBTA approach for well-defined function 7.3. - Previously covered under category 3.
This course is available as a classroom, Virtual Classroom and on-demand as in-house training.

Course Content
After successfully completing the training course participants will have acquired the knowledge skills and attitude to process and/or accept Consignment of Dangerous Goods for transport by air in accordance with Annex 18 of the ICAO Technical Instructions and the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
- Fulfil the regulatory compliance requirements for revalidation and keep your certification current
- Continue to perform tasks involved in processing dangerous goods consignments correctly
- Apply the significant changes and amendments to IATA’s DGR manual to process dangerous goods consignments accurately
- Discuss the legal responsibilities of stakeholders involved in the transportation of dangerous goods by air
Exam and certificate
- After having attended the training course, an examination/mastery test developed according to the IATA requirements is available containing 25 open and multiple-choice questions. The passing score is 80%. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
- An IATA Certificate is awarded upon successful completion of the course and an assessment

Professional personnel working in the field of transport of Dangerous Goods by air who are responsible for the process and acceptance of Dangerous Goods Consignments in accordance with the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
- Personnel working for cargo agents, consolidators and freight forwarders who are responsible for processing dangerous goods consignments from shippers to airlines
- IATA Cargo agent applicants willing to fulfil the training requirements for DGR
Pre-requisites
Essential:
Prerequisite for participating in the training Course is the ability to master the English language at the ICAO level 4 proficiency level.
Participants must hold a valid Dangerous Goods Regulations for Accepting and/or Processing Personnel certificate (or equivalent Category 3) for the entire duration of the course they attend.
